Adi 1882 Hd Audio Codec Driver
I have a Lenonvo ThinkPad T61 running Windows 10 Pro x64. It has an AD1984 audio SoundMax codec chip, by Analog Devices. It is listed in Device Manager as 'High Definition Audio Device,' running the generic Windows driver, dated, driver version 10.0.10586.0. The problem is that I'm getting sporadic but not occasional audio clicks on YouTube. I uninstalled the sound chip, then Windows re-installed the sound chip after a reboot. When opening up Sound settings or the device in Device Manager, I got, and have always gotten, two warning prompts asking me to disable SoundMax enhancements that were causing unexplained problems with Windows. This was done, and Windows might feel faster.
This did not seem to solve the problem. I have gotten 'Nvlddmkm Error (Display driver stopped responding and has recovered)' errors since upgrading to Windows 10, using the nVidia 341.92 Windows 10 drivers. I also got NMI_HARDWARE_FAILURE once. Only other issue I'm aware of, no clue if they could be at all related.
