Hi, today I've bought two DLC's for the game Kingdom of Amular: Reckoning and later discovered that they're bugged and there's no way for the publishers to fix this bug. I then surfed the internet in look for a solution and realised many others had this problem. I seeked advice at EA and came away with nothing other than reading 'We are aware that sometimes your purchased DLC for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning may not activate (or function) properly. We're very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. If you purchased your DLC for PC, please contact an Advisor and they would be happy to assist you. Just go to and log in using the Origin account associated with your game and DLC purchases. If you purchased your DLC on PS3 or Xbox, you will need to contact Sony or Microsoft for a refund.'

As you can see I'm on the Xbox 360 and I'm now wondering what to do next? A refund/working solution would be perfect. Thanks, Liam.

I paid good money for dlc ( weapons and armor bundle and online package ). And none of it plays on the game in fact the online package freezes the game. Been trying to find out what to do but all I get is either silence or runaround sending me to ea games.this product was purchased from xbox should'nt they be able to deal with the problem. I know big huge games went under now but didnt at the time of purchase. Yet the faulty dlc is still being sold and can't begin to understand why this should'nt qualify for a refund.

From what I read in the KOA: Reckoning forum the freezing problem is caused when you have the games on demand version and the season online pass house of valor dlc. The solution seems to be deleting the house of valor DLC. As far as I know the Armor and weapons DLC are supposed to be in Gorhart (I think) in a treasure chest outside one of the buildings. If it is not there maybe it spawns somewhere else.

If it is a quest maybe you have not traveled to the right location to trigger it. I recommend trying the KOA forums as a few people have had issues with the DLC and might be a good source for reading up on. That's kind of the way I thought about how our commerce system works but guess that's not the way some companies see it.

The games company went belly up so there are no patches to even hope for and didn't know this until after I started my quest to find answers to my problem.
