I have an old epson lq-100+ escp/2 installe don my winxp sp2 using the driver 'Epson LQ-100 ESC/P 2' This printer prints just fine under win98 (I have that on a VM). On my default system however it prints 2 mm of the document, then an 18 mm empty band, and then the rest of teh document. That 18 mm empty band is all that is 'extra'; everything else prints just fine. It doens't matter where I print from or what: text or picture, the outcome is the same. Twiztid discography torrents.

Find attached a picture with a windows printer test page, for reference (both on the band and information). I've done as you say. Same thing (I printed a test page right after driver installation so that no 'user settings' got in the way). Which was as expected since this is the same driver. The problem didn't suddenly appear, it has been with winxp sp2 since the beginning. I don't remember how it printed on sp1 (it was years ago) and on xp with no sp (this was even earlier).

I print rarely and tha's why I don't remember. I think the problem existed on SP1 as well, but I am not sure (I am on SP2 for at least a couple of years ).
