I'm having similar problems. Had printing problems, and Apple suggested I reinstall OS9.2, which I did. Then reinstalled PM, but lost about 85% of my fonts. My original fonts come up in Word, but not PM. In addition I tried adding the fonts from the PM CD as usual, into system folder/fonts, and they don't come up.

The documentation on the CD says to use ATM - but ATM doesn't seem to do anything or give you any options. Adobe Technical Support couldn't help (not yet anyway) and said they'd ring me back but haven't.does anyone know how to properly install fonts for OS9.2 and 10.2 and how to make all fonts accessible to all apps?

Adobe tech support gave me advice which got my original fonts back, but only if I restart PM each time I use it in 9.2- a real pain if I want to be working between Photoshop/Dreamweaver and PM. Also I can't print in 9.2 to my hp laserjet 1200 series and using PM from Classic mode is having it unexpectedly quit frequently-error code 2; this wasn't happening when using PM from OS10.2. There must be a better way.Adobe support still hasn't been able to advise me how to install the fonts from their CD and use them! Has anyone ever tried paying the fee for this support? Hello everyone, I have a problem with PageMaker 7.0, naturally, hence the title. All of the machines here, Macs, with OS 9.2.1 installed, on all of them, were completely ereased and reinstalled in segments.

When PageMaker 7.0 was installed on the (newly-formatted) computer, the default fonts were put on there. Then, fonts were installed on there that were needed, Rockwell, for example.

A CD of fonts was installed and Rockwell became visible on the font list and in the text of PageMaker. When we go to print, it does not allow us to print in Rockwell. However, in Word (or any other application at that) allows us to print in Rockwell. Does anybody have any ideas that could help me out? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The OS will direct them into the Fonts folder automatically if dragged onto the System folder. Did you use a font management utility? Try finding and deleting 'adobefnt.lst' to rebuild the Adobe Font List index. It appears screen fonts were installed but the printer fonts were not - - or they are conflicting with other postscript fonts of the same name.
